The cryogen-free cryostat can cool sample only by circulating helium gas, without using liquid helium. It is equipped with a temperature-variable insert and a solenoid-type superconducting magnet. The sample temperature can be freely controlled between 2K and 420K, and the magnetic field between -9T and +9T. The sample probe has 24 electrical wires, allowing for measurements of transport properties.
